The Weiss Bock is the newest German wheat ale to be offered here at Finn’s. Like the Hefe and Dunkel Weizen, this beer is brewed with 60% wheat malt and authentic Bavarian Weiss beer yeast. What makes this Weiss beer a bock? The Weiss Bock is higher in alcohol than your typical beer, like other bock beers. However, this brew is an ale not a lager like the majority of bock beers. The alcohol content is about 6.2% alcohol by volume. The color is darker than both the Hefe and Dunkel Weizen. The pronounced flavors in the Weiss Bock are both banana and clove with additional fruitiness due to the alcohol content and richer malt flavor that lends to a fuller mouth feel
