pours a dark amber color, medium head, no lacing. The aroma consisted of some caramel, minor malt and hops. The taste was unpleasant, it was sweet caramel, some maltiness and minor hops. The mouthfeel consisted of a thin body, and watery.

better than the standard Michelob of course, but not worth your money anyway. if they're going to market micro styles and charge us accordingly, let's stick to the actual microbreweries.

I remember this one when it came out and as I recall it was one of the first dark beers I encountered. Decent dark brown color with small head, and minimal fizz. Thin mourthfeel. Mildly bitter flavor with no lingering aftertaste to scream about.

Maybe the worse dark beer on the mass market. Lack of flavor, lack of substance, slightly bitter and way too carbonated for my taste. Thankfully I've only had it once.

Had it with greasy pizza during a car show in Michigan. Great colour and pretty decent flavour. Not one to single out as shining exammple of dark beers. Agreed, there are better ones. A little hard toward the end and that's the downfall. Good purchase for the price.

This stuff was not very good at all. Too bitter. Makes an overstatement and that is that it is not a good beer.

Points for color but it had a harsh taste. There are much better dark beers
