JACKED & JUICY Hazy IPA is our 3rd beer featured this holiday season. J&J’s juicy flavour pairs perfectly with today’s feature; a Peameal Bacon Grilled Cheese with tomato chutney, smoked cheddar on sourdough bread.

Bottle from the brewpub that kind of smells like hard boiled eggs at first - so not a nice start with this sulphur aromas. Citrusy, herbal hops in the background. Hazy, golden colour with an amber hue, a white frothy head, good stay and some foamy lacing. Thankfully, the taste is much better with lots of juiciness, showing some nice citrus notes, a tad pineapples with a slow, light drying finish. Still getting this fart nose which is really ticking me off. Is it the water that has these minerals? I have 6 other beers in bottles to go through from this brewery, so time will tell.
