Nut Brown is the perfect seasonal for fall. Its chestnut color and medium body reminds one of the turning leaves and beautiful fall colors. Sleepy Hollow Nut Brown has a complex malt character without being too sweet, and is nicely balanced with the traditional Golding hop. At nearly 4% alcohol by weight, it will warm the bones and soothe the soul. Starts pouring November. Grains: Pale Ale Malt; Caravienne; Scotmalt Crystal; Scotmalt Chocolate; Roast Material; Flaked Barley Hops: Golding

MMM this is rather more dark brown, almost mahogany, than the typical Nut Brown Ale..nice but small tan head Nice nuttyy, malty aroma..one of the better smells I have had from McMs. Nice tasting ale..nice sweet malts followed by a pronounced hop bite and almost intense nuttiness ( hazelnuts)..this is almost like a hybrid between a brown ale and a Scotch ale. Pretty good on the palate. Nice drinkable beer..especially fresh like this..same as all McMs beers IMO>
