Kansas City was founded as a fur trading post and served as a center of steamboat commerce for over 100 years. This ale is brewed in honor of the thousands of weary settlers and river travelers who steamed toward the light of the landing dock and stopped in our fine city for supplies and rest. Our lightest beer, Landing Light is smooth, refreshing and very pleasant. It is lightly hopped with a golden color and a mellow finish

Sampled at McCoy's. Poured a clear, yellow color with a light, white head and a tad of lacing. Aroma was grassy with a bit of hops. Flavor was light, but had a bit of crisp hops to it. This is for the macro drinkers.

Sampled on draft at McCoys. A classic American Pilser by style. Pours clear yellow-gold with little head or lacing. As one might expect with this style, there is almost no aroma or flavor. Very clean finish. Light-bodied and moderate carbonation. Obviously brewed for the beer drinker that doesn't like beer.
