As the British Empire expanded, English brewers added extra hops to keep beer fresh for increasingly long sea voyages. The beer on board the Mayflower shared this trait. Mayflower IPA puts a descendant’s twist on this style, with a powerful hop profile balanced by plenty of malt character. We use the freshest hops from the Pacific Northwest to give this beer its distinct, piney flavor and delightful, fruity aroma. # MALT # Two-Row Pale, Munich, Caramel Munich 40 # HOPS # Nugget, Simcoe, Crystal, Amarillo # YEAST # Top-Fermenting Ale # ORIGINAL GRAVITY # 16.8° Plato # BITTERNESS # 69 IBU # ALCOHOL # 7.0% ABV # COLOR # Copper # AVAILABILITY # Year-round in 6 Packs, ½ BBL, ¼ BBL

No nose, zero! Light copper body topped with decent head and good lace. Decent IPA mouth is medium bodied and not too slick. Flavor is not at all complex, moderately bitter, no strong characteristics.

Very nice IPA.... drawn deep golden honey color with a faint ring of a head; nice lacing. Piney, resinous nose and mouthfeel. Good flavor - well balanced, but decidedly IPA. Good malt back. Clean finish.

Enjoyed this beer very much. Although I was on vacation with good company and in a pleasant bar. My pint had a good head that left some nice lacing. It had a sweet fruity aroma. Flavour was mostly pine and citrus fruits with a decent malt profile and sightly floral. Smooth and easy drinking. Good on a hot summers day.

Pours a hazy, almost opaque honey golden with a thick pale buff head. Hoppy aroma has a strong yeasty overtone, a lot like like bread dough. Flavor is quite hoppy, more evergreen than woody, with fruity notes - both pomme and citrus - and a malty undertone. Texture is smooth and viscous, but has good fizz, leaving a greenwood finish. May this flower on your palate!
