Canned. Pale golden colour with quickly disappearing white head. Hoppy aroma with floral and weak caramellish flavour. Flavour mainly malty and hoppy with bitter ending. Pretty standard lager.

clear pale yellow colour, almost no foam, paperboard aroma, sweet, medium-bodied, grainy, vegetable finish - this beer is definitely not worth a try !

The cheaper stepsister of Efes Pilsen, Marmara is actually a pretty nice drinking beer. In general, spirits are a bit pricey in this country, and beer is no exception - at current exchange rates you pay more than 5 USD for a six pack of ordinary Efes talls. A lot considering the average Turk's salary is pretty low, and the fact that I used to buy a six pack of ordinary beer in Belgium for about 3 euros... So I generally buy Marmara because the price per liter's about 40 cents cheaper.
