We're excited to announce that Given the Circumstances, our West Coast IPA is being featured as a fall seasonal release at many local LCBO's. For this classic IPA we used all Canadian malt, including BC Dark Munich Malt for a touch of copper colour. West Coast "C" hops Cascade, Centennial, and Columbus give an assertive grapefruit and piney bitterness.

    Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8

Slight haze with an unfiltered, very tiny particles floating around. The head is creamy, lightly warm off-white, with good retention and leaving some creamy lacing. The nose is quite perfumy with some cereal grains coming out later with grassy notes. The mouthfeel is quite smooth, and almost creamy. Flavours are on the cereal grain base with some good bitterness, and even better dryness in the finish. This lingers showing nice grassiness from the hops. A silky smooth West Coast IPA.
