Sat at the bar and enjoyed this crisp weiss w/ my lunch. Paired very well with the fancy salad and Tomato Basil soup I ordered. Slightly hazy golden yellow with a very thin head and next to no lacing, not how a hefe should look. Aroma made up for the lackluster appearance as it was busting with banana and clove scents. Spicy and fresh to the nose the fruitiness captured my attention. Sure is light on the palate, even for the style, still maintains a good refreshing quality. Flavor is more mild than the aroma. Banana and lemon, pepper and clove, grassy. A lighter hefe that's easy to put back.
