Like eating Mom’s pumpkin pie. Our SPA is always a much anticipated fall release. The recipe calls for lots and lots of real pumpkin mixed in with our brewmaster’s secret recipe of grains and spices. Hurry up and try some as this beer goes fast and is only on the market for a limited time.

Sampled on draft at Marble City in Knoxville. Poured a clear, bright orange with a modest white head. Aroma is really pleasant. Nice soft cinnamon, nutmeg and pumpkin esters. Taste isn't overwhelmingly pumpkin-y which is always a plus. Subtle spices, brown sugar and pumpkin on the palate.

The most session worthy pumpkin ale I've crossed paths with. A light copper pour with a fizzy head and streaks of lacing lead you into a very mild malt backdrop and a complimenting medley of pumpkin and bakers spices. Hints of vanilla, brown sugar and nutty caramel round out a very approachable and refreshing Autumn treat. Very impressive.

FINALLY! After waiting a year for this seasonal to be re-released, I finally got to try it at Marble City Brewing's Grand Opening on Oct. 21. Beautiful clear orange amber pour with a short-lived cream head and spotty lacing. Nice but subtle spiced pumpkin pie aroma that has more cinnamon qualities than any other "pumpkin" ale I've tried. Some nutmeg, brown sugar and other spices as well. Flavor is also truly spiced but still subtle and again a tad more cinnamon than most others - nice sweetness from a brown sugar flavor, pumpkin pie spiced goodness all around yet not overdone. Very nice and damn well worth the wait. Kudos for my local upstart brewery on what will be their Flagship seasonal. Yum.
