Pours a slight hazed amber colour from the can, with some caramel highlights. Off-white head, average stay and a little lace. Big spicy darker cereal malt aromas like rye with some caramel base. Hints of molasses. The taste has this mild spiciness with the sweetness of the caramel malt. Works well and easy to drink. Not a bad ale, but nothing too out-of-this-world.

The beer pours a translucent copper colour with a generous tan coloured head which takes a couple of minutes to recede into a rocky cap. The aroma is caramel, dish soap, and some floral hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is caramel, burnt wood, and a nice hop finish. Decent beer, wished it smelled better.
