IMPERIAL COFFEE PORTERWith the weather changing there is no better beer to warm up with than a porter. Our porter exhibits a dark brown hue and weighs in at 8.0% ABV, which gives it its imperial status. The high sugar and alcohol content is precisely balanced with the addition of 12 pounds of fresh, roasted coffee. Poured a dark, hazy, amber color with a thin, light tan head that left sparce lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel, roasted malts, coffee beans, cocoa, and a bit of smoke. Taste was sweet, caramel and chocolate, with some roasted malts, and more coffee. Unfortunately the coffee could have stood out more.
