Just had the Growers Pear cider, so comparing with this one that gets more points. Some colour, very light golden with fast going head. The aromas are way more yeasty than the pear juices. The taste is the same with hints of wood. Yeah, not my thing. Much preferred the Growers version.

Clear light green with small white foam ring. Small pear aroma, small pear taste. Quite sweet actually. Short aftertaste. More a lemonade in my opinion. (Leeds 201402)

A very pale yellow body, ok carbonation aroma is light but nice with hints of pear, apples, And a touch of cereal. Flavor was the same as the aroma, with some sweetness. The finish was dry, overall I thought it was pretty good.

Had both Magners and this was my favourite of the two, plus i love perry'es .. . Pours a light yellow soda a la creme .. . light foam .. . light sugar, granny smith apple and pear .. . very refreshing and something i could have in a keg on my back .. . . Rules are rules, Hank. Without rules there would be chaos. That's why we no longer visit the public pool.

I had a fairly large bottle of this at the Golden Lion aboard the RMS Queen Mary 2 our first nigh on-board,Poured over ice it was almost clear with very high carbonation. The appearance and aroma reminded me of sparking wine. The mouth feel was dry which made for the sharp flavor with subtle pear. overtones. I think that on a hot day this could be most refreshing.

568 ml green bottle, bought at Vaaland Spesialbutikkken, Bryne. ABV is 4.5%. Contains sulphites. Made with pears as the sole fruit. Crystal clear extremely pale greyish-greenish yellow colour, pours very fizzy with a moderate but short-lived head. Moderate aroma of pears and oxidised apples. Thin mouthfeel. Flavour of pears (of course), pear drops and sugar, but not extremely sweet. Could have been better, could have been worse.
