http://www.magichat.net/elixirs/stealintime/ “Stealin’ time… ain’t a crime”, she laughs, the hot hazy sun glinting in her sunglasses as she reclines on the contour of a low knoll. Her head falls back with her ginger locks mingling with the tips of the green grass. With a flick of a finger, she pushes her shades down, an eyebrow rises and a sly smile parts her painted lips. “Stay the summer”, she says with a wink. “We’ll have the joint to ourselves.”

I guess this is decent for summer, daytime, lawnmower beer, etc. First sampled in a spring/summer variety pack, then bought another 6 on clearance end of summer. Kind of like a blonde or lightly hopped American wheat. Mild ginger in there along with some other grassy & farmhouse/sasion-type flavors. Ok for something new, but there are better in this style.

pours a light gold color with a large dense white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass. The aroma contains wheat, citrus, light caramelized malts and a touch of hops. The taste starts out bready with flavors of wheat and a hearty but not too heavy malt character. Then some sweetness comes in from flavors of citrus and caramel. The hop presence is mild but complementary and brings some balance. The after-taste is slightly bready and slightly sweet. The mouthfeel is crisp and a little smooth, medium body, medium carbonation.

A bright orange-sunshine colored beer with a small three fingered sudsy textured white head rising briefly above. There's no lacing. A ginger profile in both the nose and in the tasting. Effervescent and sessionable.
