Stop and smell the petals.. Pistil is a summer beer unlike any other, brewed with a combination of dandelion petals, Pale and Acidulated malts, flaked oats, and Apollo and Northern Brewer hops that results in a one-of-a-kind beer with a slightly sour acidity and a smooth malt body. Perfect for taking down deep thirst.

Pours out a hazy light gold color with a light white head. The aroma is malt a very faint peach. The mouthfeel is okay just average. The taste is vey mild mostly of malt with just a note of hops.

Comes out of the growler a clear solar yellow with a fluffy white head - not spectacular, but never judge a book by its cover, or a beer by its appearance. Malty aroma has subtle fruity and floral notes. Flavor has a malty core with fruity, floral and hoppy notes, not spectacular but still refreshing. A ray of sunshine on a chilly winter day. Fizz and body are about average, and finish has subtle fruity and hoppy notes. Overall, OK - good as an accompaniment to a meal, or good conversation, or a game on TV.

A murky orange in color. A small fluffy textured, white head that dusappears quickly. A thick soapy ringlet/cap is left. Bready malt intense in nose. Butterrng tones in the tasting. And then I get brief hints of peaches. Not sure if this one was well thought out. There's some effervescent in a light body.

Best thing about this beer...is the label. Throwback 60'-'70s. The brew, not so groovey. Pretty lagerish here. Cloudy pale-yellow appearance. Aroma slighty skunky. Flavor is corn and flower. If it wasn't summer (plus additional review), I wouldn't have any motivation to drink this.
