I guess this is a little better than the regular #9, as it's an IPA with a little hops to it vs. a "not quite a pale ale". Still though, the reg #9 may be better balanced and smoother. This has a goldish appearance, perhaps a little more so than the regular (more color, more malt, etc.). Seems like the same backbone though, with the apricot/peach fruity flavor in there. Pretty much a #9 + hops = Hi #9.
