Truly a hidden gem from the Cleveland area, wonderfully crafted Belgian Quad. Muddy dark brown body with a swirling, tan head and small spotty lacing. Huge raisin and plum aromas with a powerful kicker of sugary sweet rolls. I sniffed on this for quite some time, very inviting and warm. Full bodied brew that's equally smooth and mellow. A lingering sweet malty aftertaste makes for a nice touch. Flavors of concentrated dark fruits coupled by strong dark chocolate and a splash of stale coffee. This is malty x10 with accents of nuts and earth. So smooth and creamy. A top notch thinking man's beer.
