Your average commercial lager taste, no skunkiness, nice label, and it's a seasonal, making it a little more enticing to purchase when comparison shopping. I had 2 six-packs of this over 2 weeks, and it's a decent, but ho-hum drink. Great for those thirsty I-worked-so-hard-today afternoons, but sadly, a fairly average beer. Recommended because it's a seasonal with a nice label, and alcohol is above the average 5% lager.

Bottled. Deep golden colour, small white head. Aroma is hops, hops, hops. Flavour is hops, caramel malts and very bitter. Quite standard IPA which is a bit to the boring side of it.

Split the first bottle with my wife, and all of the second was mine alone. Nice creamy ivory head on top of a rich copper body. Aroma was pleasingly floral and hopped, and damned if it didn't taste hoppy as well. Good 'sharp' mouth and finish. Nice IPA from a good brewery.
