After having their first two brews as bad experience, I really hope this one will not be the same (Armchair and Pale Ale had bad, weird hops). Pours a real dark brown, almost black colour with very little dark ruby highlights. Beautiful frothy-creamy mocha head, long lasting with good lacing. Aromas of roasted malts, with notes of coffee, chocolate malts and dark fruits. Same for the taste, but milder with hints of vanilla to balance things out. An easier to drink Oatmeal Stout and what a change from the other two brews I had from this brewery. There is hope.
