Louwaege’s kriek was launched in the summer of 2002 to cater to the taste of people enjoying a sweet kriek beer. The sweet Louwaege’s kriek is brewed at a location where craftsmanship in brewing fruit beers reigns supreme, in other words in Kobbegem. Product specifications: Louwaege’s kriek is a spontaneously fermenting beer brewed in the micro-biological climate of the Zenne river valley. The basis for this sweet kriek beer is authentic lambic beer.

Probably the sweetest beer I've ever tried! Pleasant mixed cherry and beer aroma, super attractive bottle and color of beer, but as regards taste - it's disappointing. It is impossibly sweet with no signs of beer. Just cherries. Very strange one.
