growler! .. . this was a good brew! .. pours a deep brown .. light foam .. lacing was small spots .. . nice roast presence with a touch of sweetness .. . very impressive stuff! .. . . still wish i could have seen judy knock down all those grapefruits!

Pours opaque black with small, tan head. Coffee and vanilla notes make for a pleasant aroma. Big roasty flavor with strong chocolate character and a hint of smoke. Medium bodied, well carbonated. Worthwhile sampler.

Sampled on draft at LB. Pours opaque with a thin head but good lacing. Sweet malt aroma is followed by a balanced flavor dominated by patent/roasted malts. Silky smooth mouthfeel.

Sampled at the brewpub. Poured a dark, dark brown/black color with a light light-brown head. Aroma was coffee-like and malty. Flavor was very malty with a strong coffee aftertaste. Pretty solid Oatmeal Stout.

deep black in color with a thick body. good head and lacing. nice chocolate taste and also taste of coffee, but wasn't as stong of coffee as a typical stout to me. good light coffee aftertaste. would def drink again!

Roasty and sweet aroma. Off white/tope head over deep dark body. More husky mouthfeel with less oat slickness than most, but not bad. Roast dominated flavor with malty backup. Not at the top of heap, a middle of the pack brew.
