Beacon IPA is a copper coloured, medium bodied, generously hopped India Pale Ale. Beacon possesses just the perfect balance of sharp hop flavour without being overly bitter. The crisp, inviting aroma and unique, spicy taste will leave the palate yearning for more. Available in 6 pack cans, 19L and 50L kegs. Food pairing: If you like to intensify the spiciness of food, Beacon IPA is a great beer to pair with Mexican or Thai cuisine. Try it with Thai pumpkin curry and papaya salad. As well, this beer is a great compliment to heavy, fried foods – try it with fried stuffed Poblano chile peppers.

Well Lighthouse what have you got for me tonight? An IPA you say, well then lets get this done. Lighter non-intense IPA, almost chocolaty, watery, lemon, earthy spice. Heavy malts with upfront bitterness that fades to sweet in the finish. There is a nondescript sharpness in the aroma that's driving me nuts because I can't figure it out. Good easy to drink beer with nothing really bad about it except probably one of the last IPA's I'd ever reach for.

I thought this was a pretty cool american/english crossover IPA. It was awesome in the mouth, it was ready for a good sesssion that is for sure. Pale english hops, bit of spruce, not pine, some carmel, and a bit of bitter honey..... touch of banana, not a good part of it though. Mostly a brit beer with some added bitterness and dry hopping. Kinda like it.

Fresh 344ml can, Thanks Mark. Brisk pour puts a clear orange-amber ale in the glass with a decent sticky/creamy 2 finger cap which lasts well and laces the glass as it's drained. Aromas are toasty malts, woody-earthy resinous British hops (Fuggles) very traditional english IPA aroma. Profile: wonderful toasty-bready malt in the front is balanced with piney resinous hopping....mid palate succulent fruit tones from yeast esters mingle with the now bittering pine-citrus hops and more earthy-woody falvors as some complexity is detected...finishes lightly drying and clean with intensifying resinous bittering leaving a metalic aftertaste. Balanced, full bodied, creamy mouth feel, drinkable and satisfying. A very decent hybrid IPA...done in the english style with mostly english variety hops and a few Pacific warriors in the boil just to throw some light citirus in the taste. Overal character is unique...very earthy-woody hop presence against toasted maris malts...very balanced but hoppy...not a Pacific NW styled IPA but a good Pacific NW take on the English style IPA
