Pours a deeper amber colour with a beige creamy, super long lasting head with very thick lacing. Big raisin and molasses aromas at first, but when it calms a little down, the caramel and fruity malts shine. The taste definitely shows more the hops. The bitterness rides over the fruitiness with some burnt undertones. Not bad at all, if you prefer a hoppier Altbier.

An ok example of the style. Liked the depth of the malt, the feel and the color, though the aroma seemed to be a step behind. Pleasant, but no need for a 750.
