330 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original Les Fous glass an unfiltered and opaque dark, dark-brown coloured late gushing Stout with a plentiful three fingers beige creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Mid-sized carbonation. Great lacing. The aroma is roasted malts, huge roasted coffee beans and dark bitter chocolate. The flavour is deep roasted malts, deep roasted coffee beans, a touch of spices, pepper, notes of ashes and a well pronounced hoppy bitterness. The mouthfeel is creamy, slight crispy and overall very smooth. This light to medium bodied Stout has a long coffeish and bitter finish. A nice surprise brewed by an english brewer located, not in Great Britain, but on the other side of the Channel, in the Bretagne, in France.
