Second Baltic Porter from Quebec tonight. The first being the McAuslan one. This one is dark brown, but a little lighter with copper highlights, a lighter beige head, decent retention with thinner lace. Lots of coffee in the aromas over the roasted malts. The taste has the same, but a sharp hop bite attacks the finish. Some more coffee lingers. Chocolate, molasses notes, but not much dark fruit like the McAuslan version, so reminds me more of an Imperial Stout. Not bad but preferred the other one.
