An unfiltered lager that has a fine balance between malt and hops. Red lagers are traditionally unfiltered (kellerbier), and are found in small breweries throughout Bavaria. Brewer Todd Leopold brought this overlooked style back to America after he finished his studies at a brewing school located just outside of Munich.
