Pours clear cherrywood with a thick and fairly persistent fine-bubbled, almost Guinness-like buff head that has a slight reddish tinge and leaves generous lacing. Aroma features tart and sweet currants plus fresh malt. Flavor offers what the aroma promises, not spectacular but distinctive. Silky-smooth texture gives up fair body and perky fizz. A good party beer or accompaniment to a meal.
