A prospect is a rising talent whose skills are too great to ignore. They are a natural team player, chosen for their distinctive abilities. The same can be true of a standout hop amongst a beer’s roster of ingredients. In that spirit, we are proud to bring you Prospect, our single hop IPA series. Each batch is brewed using the same malt recipe and showcases a unique hop for its individual characteristics. In this version, Sabro hops take the field. Brimming with dominant tropical fruit and tangerine aromas with hints of subtle mint and cedar, this Prospect delivers complex fruity, citrus flavours. Contains wheat. Small can from LCBO. Pours a fairly big foamy white head with thick soapy lacing and has a pale golden appearance. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of citrus and tropical fruit, some pine and grassy notes. Flavours are mostly tropical and citrus hops, some mild oats and wheaty notes. A little bit of hop bitterness on the palate. Drying mouthfeel.

Lightly hazed golden-yellow colour with a small frothy white cap, average stay leaving a thin coat of foam. Herbal scent with fresh leaves, grassiness and some mint. Even the taste has this minty freshness and not much bitterness is left in the finish. Not much dryness as well. Does build after a few sips. Hints of pineapples in the background. Becomes hazier at last pour with particles through it. Not bad all-around and gets the job done.
