Our latest IPA is inspired by the hazy, tropical, dank IPAs coming out of the North Eastern US. Our Vermont style Double IPA is Intensely hopped with Columbus, Simcoe, Centennial, Nelson Sauvin and Galaxy. Laser Show is loaded with notes of tropical fruit, lychee, cantalopue and orange juice concentrate. It has a soft mouthfeel, a restrained bitterness and is incredibly smooth for a beer clocking in at 8% ABV. While we’re not currently fans of the Boston Red Sox for obvious reasons, we’ve always quietly admired their gritty second baseman, Dustin Pedroia. Despite his smaller stature, Pedroia has repeatedly defied the odds racking up accolades such as Rookie of the Year, American League MVP and both Silver Slugger and Golden Glove titles. He’s a beast in the batter’s box and has been known to put on a laser show.

The beer pours a hazed pineapple juice colour with a short lived white head. The aroma is tropical fruit (pineapple, mango), fresh cut grass, and yeast. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was similar to the aroma with some tartness in the fruit flavours. Quite aromatic and flavourful. -

After having the Two Roads Road 2 Ruin, decided to go with this one to compare IIPAs. Pours a hazy golden colour with particles all-around, a warm cap, good retention and loads of lacing. Grapefruit aromas with orange notes and mild grassy hops. Juicy Vermont-style IPA and well-hidden alcohol, so does not feel like an Imperial one. Easy to drink with the citrus juices and nicely blended yeast. The finish is balanced very well with the dryness. Yes, could have this again.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a fairly small foamy bubbly white head but doesn't stick around very long. Has a slightly hazy orangey appearance. Lacing is not bad. Aromas of tropical fruits, citrus and floral hops. Flavours are quite hoppy, lots of tropical fruits, some hints of melon and subtle notes of grapefruit. Slick and dry moutheel. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Good stuff!
