The smash takes its name from the phrase "single malt, single hop." It is composed of a single malt, Golden Promises, and a single hop, Citra. The name IPA, which normally offers an amber or red ale, offers us a sparkling pale ale with white foam. The nose reveals aromas of sweet malt and honey, lurked behind a strong presence herbaceous with hints of citrus. The palate is refreshing figure surf wave on which hops crunchy unique taste of Citra, an oasis in arid gorges

On tap @ Milos’ - taps a hazed bright gold with a sticky. rich white cap that lasts the drink. Aroma is gorgeous - big citrus rush with a bready sweet undertone and light fruitiness. Rich silky mouth feel, bight citrusy sharp character. Flavour has the big citra rush at the front but the bready sweet maltiness balances mid palate - clean bright finish with a hop kiss in the finish. Probably one of the best IPAs I’ve sampled. It takes skill to brew with citras to get what I tasted here, but the star of this brew is the singular use of golden promise malt - its depth of flavor makes it the ideal malt for new world IPAs - artfully crafted brew.
