Pours a real deep amber colour with red-copper highlights. Big creamy-foam beige head, good retention and patchy lace. Smoke scent at first, but disappears leaving only dark fruity malts. From time to time, a wiff of burnt wood mildly goes by. The taste seems like this, but even milder with not much of a mouthfeel. Light smoke and roasted malts linger in the end. kind of disappointed in this one, as hoping more smokiness to it.

Pours a huge frothy creamy off-white coloured head. Has a dark coppery appearance with ruby highlights. Thick dirty lacing. Has a smoky malty aroma, quite strong at first. Flavours are sweet and smoky malts, charcoal-like notes, earthy hops. Some spices come through in the finish and much more smoky as well. Mild warming and tingling sensation. Slick and oily mouthfeel. Pretty good.
