La Mille Shacks est une bière de style Milkshake IPA au mélilot blanc. Ce style est une IPA auquel des fruits (orange dans notre cas), de la vanille et du lactose sont souvent ajoutés. En plus de ces ajouts, une fleur boréale nommée mélilot blanc a été incorporée à la bière. Cette fleur est très odorante et possède des arômes rappelant la vanille et l’estragon. Bref, cette bière a une forte amertume équilibrée par des saveurs de mélilot blanc, de vanille, d’agrumes et de fruits tropicaux.

Hazy, orangy with a golden hue, a bubbly off-white head, decent stay and soapy lacing. Sweet, fruity nose with some pineapple notes with a nice base of orange juices, lactose and hints of herbs. The hops come out a little more in the taste, especially in the finish, giving a grassy aftertaste. This balances the sweetness of the lactose, and blending with the citruses. Some bitterness keeps building. Getting a touch of coconut, wax and peaches. A pretty nice Milkshake IPA that packs a punch.
