Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9
750 ml capped bottle. Poured an unfiltered and strong hazy burgundy-brown coloured ESB with a two fingers beige and creamy foamy head that thad a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Low carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is toasted malts, caramel, brown sugar, flowery, violet and aromatic bitter hops. The mouthfeel is yeast, intense herbal and aromatic hops, caramel and toasted malts, fruity, grainy apples, grapefruits, citrus. The mouthfeel is fulled, thick, sparkling, very smooth and great bitter. The texture is a bit oily. This medium bodied ESB has a lingering hoppy bitter finish. A well made brew from a tiny brewery, not far away from Nancy.
