Pours a clean brown colour with lots of copper highlights. The head is beige, kind of creamy, decent stay and good creamy lacing. The aromas are very weird - not appealing. Kind of milky, kind of farty. All of this over very sweet malt and hints of burnt barrels smokiness. The taste is a little better with more the barrel and liqueur taste. Still, a little off. Not much of a finish and mouthfeel. Would not have again.

Bottle: Poured a light amber color ale with a medium foamy head with average retention and no lacing. Aroma of fake butterscotch is not the most pleasant. Taste is also dominated by some bad butterscotch notes with light alcohol ester. Body is too thin and sweetness is kind of gross. I am not sure if Cognac was really used in this beer but it must have been one of the least interesting type. Another missed experiment from a strange brewery.
