330 ml capped bottle bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Le Brewery mug an unfiltered and cloudy mahogany or ruby-brown coloured DIPA with a short one finger beige creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Great lacing. The aroma is a solid malty backbone, toffee and a great bunch of herbal hops. The flavour is heavy toasted malts, caramel, toffee, biscuits, spicy, licorice and a huge and intense herbal hoppy bitterness. The mouthfeel is full. The alcohol, altough very present, is not overwhelming. This full bodied DIPA has a lingering heavy bitter finsih. An impressive DIPA, an almost unknown beer style in France. A must for bitterness lovers !
