A man sits at a bar in the Oslo airport. Two men approach. The man at the bar looks up at the other two. They nod in a familiar manner - but yet have never met. They pass a small container to the man at the bar possibly once containing Chinese take-away. This time, however, contains a strain of Norwegian kveik. Thus begins the journey of this yeast across the Atlantic brought to us by the Norwegian. Although we don't have the same tools as the Norwegian farmers, we've used what we have and have brewed our interpretation of this delicious drink. Mashed with an infusion of freshly harvested juniper sprigs and noble Hallertau hops this ale brings you a flavor that imparts orange peel and a Christmas-like spice. This ale is represented with the Norse symbol for good health.
