When German cyclists (radlers) were thirsty but wanted to keep biking, bars would mix together pilsener and grapefruit juice, giving them a refreshing boost of energy. Our version starts with a Belgian pale ale, and subs out the grapefruit juice for spicy ginger beer. The result is a low alcohol and ultra-crushable beer, perfect for long days of summer drinking. It's a little bit tart and a little bit sweet, but nicely balanced by notes of ginger, citrus and mango.
