Clear pale yellow with decent lasting white foam head. Aroma is not fresh, malt, but not nice. Taste is bit strange, not a pilsener. Could be I drank it too warm. Not again. (Dubrovnik 201305)

500 ml capped bottle. Poured a clear pale amber coloured Pilsener with a one finger light beige creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Active carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is faint malty and light hoppy notes. The flavour is a vague grainy and moderate sweety juice and ... nothing more. The mouthfeel is round, light sugary and thin. The texture is watery. This light to medium Pilsener has a dry faint bitter finish. A Pilsener on the very softer way, original but a named Pilsener requires more stuff.

This'll be my first Slovenian beer. Pale yellow color with a good sized, frothy white head. The aroma is bland with just a touch of hops. Decent lacing. The flavour isn't strong and is definitely nothing special. Thin mouthfeel with lots of carbonation. Pretty much what i expected.

Very pale color. Not much foam. Aroma is strongly hoppy and bready. Taste is very refreshing citrus and fruit halftones. Aftertaste is refreshingly bitterish.

Big bottle, little country. It pours a clear golden colour with a whitish cap that is generous. The aroma is grass, grain, and not much else. The flavour is more of the same.

Bottle: Poured a golden color pilsner with a nice foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of corn and light floral malt is kind of disappointing. Taste is also dominated by some medium sweet corn malt with limited hops presence. Average body for the style with good carbonation. Another bland and boring euro-lager.

Smokeless Joe’s (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – 125 John Street)

The beer poured a translucent gold into a glass with a loose white head which didn't last very long. There was some hints of malt in the aroma, but not a lot. The mouthfeel was thin, with mild carbonation, and slightly slippery, reminiscent of wheat beers. The flavour was also a bit on the grainy side. Not a beer I would go out of my way to order again, but it did knock another country off my list. -

Bottle> Handled in the typically insane way the LCBO does this> Long term, in the light at room temp...but the beer was not skinked?? ( chemical adjuncts to prevent photo degeneration?) Pour: a golden colored Pils with a tall fluffy cap which lasts and laces..moderate carbonation. Aroma:Primal cracked grains, weak floral hopping , some sweetness. Profile: grain and husky up front light moravian malts and hops then a flood of sickly sweetness from some refined adjunct source ( probably vegetable dextrose) finishes wet, sweet and with a light bittering Overall impression: nice malty nose cloakes the sickeningly sweet adjuncts and chemical stabilizers ...the ultimate "Slovak welfare lager" meant to rot your teeth, fuzz your head and be easy on the Kopecks...why is the LCBO wasting shelf space with this commie welfare slop when we canc’t get a decent lager here like Spaten or Ayinger here ????

I had this beer when I was in Croatia a few years back. Saw it at the liquor store a few days ago and decided to pick it up. The appearance is nothing special. The head is more bubbly then foamy. It smells like nothing really. The mouthfeel isn't bad and and the taste has some bitter kick to it. Probably wouldn't get this beer very often.

This is one of the best beers in the world. I like it very very much. Slovenians did it again! :) I tried it many many times and it is still beating other central European brands!
