A much less filling Scottish style with a far lighter mouthfeel. That said, flavours arent comprimised too much, but certainly were not as pronouced to begin with. Hardly any roasted notes, nil on hops too. Good drinkability though, a result of lacking aroma and character. Still, what else would you expect from a value brand offering?

Dark red with brownish bubbly head (that lasted about 2 minutes... not bad). Nice mild aromas of chocolat and coffee, but this is nowhere near a stout. You can drink many of these without being full. In fact, you could only buy this beer in 24 packs, but it did not sell. Now, you can finally buy it in a 6 pack. Watery with hints of coffee and nuts, with a sweet smooth aftertaste. Very well priced and Lakeport's best beer along with their Honey Lager.
