Another beer I could have done without (as is the case with most beers from Laker/Lakeport/Brick/Steelback). It pours a nice red colour, and the aroma is sweet malt. The flavour is metallic and heavy, and all malt.

This one only comes in a 24 pack (if you want bottles). It is part of the dollar-a-beer brews. Pours a copper-red colour with a tanned head that leaves good lace all around. The nose is pretty decent at first, then kind of disappears. The mouthfeel has a nice wetness for refreshing purposes, but also sticks a bit too. The taste surprised me too, with some nice malts found in red beers, but then lands into the typical corn-based finish. Overall, was quite please with this one for the price and for a hot summer night.

Typical swill from Lakeport, which makes it highly drinkable as far as swill goes, and not bad for a red beer either. This, along with Lakeport's Honey, are their 2 best. Funny that the 2 newest kids on the Lakeport block would be their best. I'd probably drink this again and again on cheap swill night.

The aroma was quite weak and hard to find. Poured a red copper colour with some creamy white cap on the top. Flavour profile consisted mostly of malts with little hop profile, but a good taste overall. The mouthfeel was somewhat creamy and a nice medium body, but the finish was harshly carbonated. A good attempt overall by Lakeport.
