Expect this thing to be dark and robust with a malty sweetness. A touch hoppier than the typical porter, the medium bitterness balance the malts and a deep chocolate or coffee aroma stops just short of burnt. If we did it right, this one oughta be one big, full-bodied beer.

Medium bodied, sweet and smooth with a hint of bitterness. Creamy chocolate and moderately roasted malts with some caramel and a nice floral fruitiness. Very clean and enjoyable. Big thanks to heybeerman for providing this fine bottle.

A nice chocolate coffee aroma, some sourness and burned notes. Deep dark black beer with tan head. Flavor is like baltika, sour, burnt, not complex. More pils in the flavor than Baltic porter. All around, not bad, a good representation of today's eastern block styles, it could be more complex.

Was intrigued by this beer last night at Alchemy, so I bought a pint. Pours thick, black, low carbonation into the glass. Aroma is burnt toast. A little alcohol and hops also on the nose. Taste is mellow, a tad meeker than what I look for in a Baltic Porter. Some rich, roasted notes, spice and earthiness.
