This recipe is a true craft ale brewed with only water, yeast, hops and malted barley, in keeping with the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516. We have designed it with a vibrant golden amber hue and a refreshing body. The mild addition of Kent Golding hops balances the generous amounts of caramel malts to give it a malty rather than a bitter finish. A special strain of California Ale Yeast gives the brew a slight hint of fruity aroma

Not bad, not something I'll likely have again. This mild ale is obviously pretty light in aroma, body, flavor...hints of earthy matiness, dark fruit and a hint of hop bite.

This is my first Mild Ale. Not sure this will be the best to sample for first of genre. But here we go. A cloudy, yellow colored ale. I got a big frothy white head. Not much hange time, but I like what was left behind. Soapy froth stuck to sides of the glass. Kinda unique. Decent lacing capping the top of the beer. The aroma is gentle. Some sweet malt. Some fruit. There’s a lot of carbonation, adding a creaminess to a light body. The taste is as light. Some malt and and a bolder citrusy hops. A drinkable ale. Sorry I only had one to sample.

Aroma is fairly strong, malty and yeasty, with just a hint of lemon and maybe even a touch of vegetable. It pours a clear amber golden with a typical white head. Flavor is mouth-filling, not complex but satisfying and refreshing; it is mainly malty with some yeasty tones and more than a hint of hops but very little bitterness. Texture is tingly and fizzy, like any good beer.

Pours a golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma was a bit fruity. Not much in the way of flavor but, as a mild ale, that wasn't a big surprise. Overall, very smooth and refreshing; easy to drink.

From a bottle. Pours a clear yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is melow and malty. Flavor follows suit. Nothing too over the top. Nice sweetness up front with a decent hop balance at the end. This is a perfect beer for a day like today. Hot and humid and this is nice and refreshing. Great session beer as well.

This beer poured a cloudy golden color with a thin white head. It resembled in many ways a Biere de Garde. It had a mild malty aoma with a flavor consisting of bread and wheat.

Fairly clear gold. The aroma has a faint spice of hops, but the yeasty fruitiness is the stronger component. The malt is mild and this is a pretty easy-drinking beer.

Fresh sweet aroma of mild grain. Pale yellow colored body and a thin billowy white head. Pleasant mild flavors of light sweet malt and solid hops with a satisfying dry finish. This is a fine mild ale - fresh, mellow, and tasty; a good alternative to the plethora of bland pale lagers out there.

Aroma is sweet and vibrant with some fruity esters noticeable as well as some very slight caramel and is rather tame and mild. Appearance is a hazy, golden yellow when held to the light with a full head on top that is creamy and off-white in color and remains. Mouthfeel is light-bodied and pleasant with decent complexity as well as balance with a palate that is wet-like and smooth. Flavor is of fruity esters as well as some nice hoppiness with an aftertaste that is sweet and malty with a finish that is clean and tasty and very drinkable. Overall, not a bad brew here and very solid and easy to drink...

Very nice aroma but had a slight citrus flavor.Very cloudy for a non yeasty ale, smooth with no lingering aftertaste. I don't think I would order another with so many good ones out there.
