Formally known as Coon Rock Cream Ale, this beer is a “pre-prohibition” Cream Ale produced with flaked corn for a very creamy and full-bodied beer. Lightly hopped with traditional varieties that would have been grown in Wisconsin a hundred years ago. The ultimate “Lawn Mower Beer.”

Extremely pale and clear, smells of grain and grass. Flavor is very mild, maybe a little sweetness but mostly more grains and grass with a hint of hops at the finish.

Pours a yellow color with a white head. Smell of grains and malts. I was a little disappointed in the taste. A little sweet at the end. Was hoping for more.

Why have i not tried this one? I pass it up all the time thinking i'ved tasted it before. Pours a dull straw yellow colour with a medium sized white fluffy head. Immediately on the nose you get grain, pear and hops. Taste is sort of bland for me. Very malty- again noticeable hops, but just not enough going on.

Thanks to pfoxyjohn for this one. Pours a slightly murky pale yellow with a thin disappearing head with very little lacing. A little carbonation. Aromas of sweet wheat and malts, a little sweet cream and slight hops. Taste is smooth and easy, not spectacular, with a slight grittiness with little sweet malt, a bit of sweet cream then a very slight bit of hops. Good hot weather brew.

A light yellow color with a thin bubbly white head. Nose is fresh grain and lightly sweet. Smooth and soft on the palate; mildly sweet with a residual hop bitterness. Just a very drinkable, mild brew but still solid and well-flavored.
