On tap at the brewpub pouring up totally opaque sandy – gold – peach skin with white head and sheet lacing. Cool looking beer. The aroma is full and assertive with thick sweet wheat, tons of yeastiness, some yeasty spices and sweet banana along with faint floral to earthy to maybe spicy hops off in the background. The taste is bright fresh and crisp and enhanced by plenty of carbonation. I get a tingly yet mild yeasty and spicy note moving quickly into spicy hops and a thin layer of lemon like acidity. As the hops move in so too does the sweetness running from sludgy wheat notes to ripe banana. Into the finish a thin layer of spicy hops and grainy malts come to the surface to balance out the sweetness a bit and take this to closure.
