This is a new beer for Franz and it wasn’t on at Hoppers. Poured up on tap at the Lagerhaus brewpub. It poured out with loads of foam causing for a prolonged tapping. It has a copper body with gold edges and modestly hazy opacity to go along with a tall lasting white head. The aroma is full with wheat, cloves and yeasty spices as well as a touch of banana. The taste comes along smoothly due partly to the reduced carbonation from the issue tapping this brew. That’s fine with me though. I get solid assertive wheat along with mild lemon like acidity. By midway clove and yeasty spice join the mild acidity and persistent wheat notes. It ends with the addition of a pleasing grainy malt note lingering into the after taste.
