Pours an orangish-brown color with very little head and some spotty lacing down the glass. Aroma is or oranges, hops, and malt. Taste is quite solid yet complex. It's more on the "malt" side of a balance, but bitter enough to keep it real. There's a definite fruit presence; a cross between arpicot and orange. Perhaps a bit of butterscotch as well. Palate has a nice mineral feel to it that others seem to lack. This is nice and creamy as well. Overall this is a very nice ESB and worth seeking out. As with all the brews I've had from this brewery, I wish I could get it locally.

Medium brown color, medium head. A medium bodied ESB. Malty and very hoppy. Malts are smooth and slightly sweet. Hops are spicy and bitter. Good balance, nice flavor. Nice malts. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is malty and slightly bitter.

This beer pours a deep red amberish color with a very thin white head and little to no lacing present. The aroma is oakey, malty, twiggy, earthy with a hint of syrup and grass. The flavor is medium bodied with a tongue coating maltiness in the finish. Syrupy sweetness, oak, twigs and leaves dominate the flavors with of course a bittersweet mid-sip and finish. Definite hop presence, mild bitterness. Dry finish, somewhat citrusy and earthy..a strange but unique combination. Smooth carbonationless sip that leads into a mouthpucker change of pace with regards to bitterness..a bit rough on the palate, but interesting.
