silky smooth coffee and milk… *This beer contains both lactose and caffeine* Starting with a rich sweet stout base, we added both lactose to the kettle and 30 lbs. of locally roasted Trifecta Coffee Company espresso to the finished beer. The result is an aroma that is brimming with java and chocolate, an incredibly full, almost milkshake, mouthfeel and a creamy sweet finish.

22 oz bottle, dated 1/13/17. Pours dark brown with a medium creamy tan head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is sweet lactose and chocolate malt with a lot of roast coffee.
The flavor is sweet lactose and chocolate malt with a big roast coffee finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a nice coffee stout. I think I'd prefer it without lactose.
