750 ml capped bottle, as a 6.5 % ABV. Poured an unfiltered light hazy amber-orange coloured BdG with a somptuous two fingers slightly beige, dense and pillowy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is intense toasted malts, sugary fruits, quince, faint grassy hops and a strong and pleasant barnyard feeling. The flavour is sweety and toasted malts, bready, notes of caramel and fruity, apples, raisins. The mouthfeel is light crispy, fulled and very smooth. This medium bodied BdG has a dry pronounced malty finish. A magnificent and rustic BdG from the French Hainaut. It breathes the earh with each sip. A moment of emotion !

Aroma - aroma has enough dried fruits to make a fruity stand jealous, tons of sweetness, light herbs and somthing that reminded me of light (really light) funk notes. Very pleasing aroma.
Appearance - beautiful golden yellow body topped with a merengue like fluffy head.
Taste - lots of yeast and dried apple character, sweetness is suprisingly really minimal which is not what I was expecting. Reminds me in many ways of apple bread, but in liquid form.
Palate - medium bodied, carbonation reminiscent of a champage or a close cousin of one.
Overall - a rare great beer from France. Well worth it if found. Very nice. -

A dark orange appearance with a large frothy head. The aroma is quite herbal with some lemons and spices. The flavor is quite yeasty with some lemons, oranges, whipped cream, and spices. The finish showed some notes of alcohol. The mouthfeel was very carbonated. Overall a very nice beer.
