Fränken Bierausflug, Day#3, Brewery#10, Beer#23. Served in a krug vom Faß, this Breitenlesauer Kellerbier Hefetrüb was a satisfying companion to my lunch of Limberger Käse und Bröt. Cloudy copper color with a dense white head. Yeasty, alcoholic nose; medium-bodied with a sharp-edged, dense mouthfeel. Subtle flavors of roasted malt, tofee and gentle hops. Flavors meld to finish soft, contented, proud and warm. Darker, fuller, and more satisfying than expected. Very nice.
