This beer is the definition of pure ‘meh’. The beer pours a clear light gold color with a weak white cap that lasts a couple of minutes. The aroma is grass, light citrus, and yeast. Mouthfeel is light to average. The flavor is grains, with a light spicy hop finish.

The beer poured a very clear pale gold colour with a half inch white cap that did stick around a few minutes. The aroma was grains, some light citrus notes, and a yeasty tone. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation, The flavour was the downfall of this beer. It was very grainy, and had an 'off' bitterness that I could not place. Not something I would try again. -

Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a clean golden colour with a slight off-white head that is frothy, bubbly, foamy with a decent stay and some good foam lacing. Hoppy fresh citrus aromas over light sweet malts, kind of like an American Pale Ale. The taste is way milder on the hops though. Still on the citrus side and the malt is more on the grainy side, than sweet. Goes down nicely and must be great for Hawaii weather. Giving a lemon twist, like Corona with lemon, but done with hops instead. Quite nice for a blonde Ale.

Sample from bottle at Vectura-messe; Norway. Golden colour. Orange-like aroma. Citrussy flavour, light bodied. easy to drink. Better suited for Hawaiian climate than a Norwegian winter.

Clear yellow, small white foam head. Nice hoppy aroma and bitter taste. A nice beer with typical US taste to it. Dutch brewer would classify as APA at least. (Biddinghuizen 201704)

lightly flavor of hops. Nose is most dominate feature. Sweet caramel-bready malt . drank straight form bottle cold on beach in Hawaii so it might have influenced rating some

Pretty plain jane beer, it's not bad but it's not anything to get excited about either. I guess the best way to fully appreciate this beer. Would be to be on a beach in Hawaii. Or maybe add a slice of pineapple to it.

Comes out of the tap a clear, appetizing amber. Hoppy, woody, malty aroma has a citrus undertone, almost more like an IPA. Malty flavor is fairly hoppy, a bit fruity, not at all bitter. Body has good firmness and fizz. A wave worth catching.

I think I found a new spring/summer brew. I didn't think this would be this good. Couldn't pinpoint what it reminded me of, but then I figured it was either Anchor Summer Beer, or Anchor Small Beer. This is down to 4.4% ABV- so pretty smooth and crisp feel. Clear and refreshing like a kolsch, but has a little hop to it...like a clean pale ale but not as heavy on the malt. I will be getting this again.

Very impressed with this beer--much better than their pale ale and lager. Grapefruit and piney hop aroma with a hint of honey; bready malt provides the balance; very mild bitter finish. Refreshing and thirst quenching--this is a beer you could drink all summer.
